Many people ask me what are my tips for self care.

Self care is something that is very important to me.

As a mum, it’s easy to feel depleted after a long day or week. While being a parent is rewarding, it is also a very hard job, and I can be very hard to give much of yourself anymore if your cup is empty.

So, I often find my favourite ways to feel myself again include:

1️⃣ A door that locks to my bedroom / ensuite for space to have 5 minutes of personal space!!! $30 from Bunnings 🤣 but leave spare keys in central location, I had to call a locksmith out last night because the kids locked my bedroom with my house / door keys inside hahahah

2️⃣ Practising long deep breaths & majoring this when at traffic lights (just like the midwives would say with pelvic floor exercises at traffic lights lol)

3️⃣ Saying no, whether that's not answering calls before midday, not replying to texts or just simply saying you're busy (because doing nothing is self-care)
